With this delightful romantic comedy, the Disney Studio returns to the traditional, hand-drawn animation style of Walt's classic period.

The graphic work is simple and exquisite, the songs are lilting and amusing and there are sequences with the villain that are as scary as anything in Snow White or Pinocchio, which is high praise.

In this fairy tale set in New Orleans in the 1930s, two friends grow up with different dreams. Both friends - beautiful African-American Tiana, and southern belle Charlotte - are turned into frogs by a voodoo trickster, and must undertake a journey to regain their real identities and find true love.
