Afro-French band Cafe Creme et les Freres Smith are a stunning and powerful live experience with authentically irresistible funky African grooves. This 11-piece international Afrobeat band return to the UK from Paris for a special appearance at The Astor Theatre, having toured Europe in the summer. Their recently released debut cd features a guest appearance by legendary Nigerian drummer Tony Allen, co-creator of the Afrobeat genre with Fela Kuti in the 1970s.

They are supported by their Kentish cousins Mr. Lovebucket who have played clubs and festivals in London, the South-East and Paris. Their upbeat funk and ska will get the evening off to a lively start.
