Repertoire for the evening will include Beethoven's Sonata in C minor opus 13 The Pathetique performed by James Hodgson followed by a selection of songs arias and duets accompanied by Richard Black. The programme will range from Monteverdi's love duet Pur ti Miro through nineteenth century art song including Wolf, Tosti and Brahms before moving on to English song including Sea Fever by John Ireland (who once resided in Deal), a haunting duet Moon Silver by William Lloyd Webber (father of Andrew) and ending with Mozart's duet La Ci Darem from Don Giovanni.
