The Drill Hall Darlings – Lesbian Community Theatre Troupe in WHO KNEW?

The Drill Hall Darlings are an amateur theatre group based at London’s Drill Hall theatre. Over the past 4 years they have presented a series of performances focussing on their own ‘ lesbian coming out’ stories from the 1950s, 60s and 70s; several productions that have been specially commissioned for them including – Take Me Back To Lesbos and Its Christmas Carole! By Giselle Johnson and a production of Any Woman Can by Jill Posener (Gay Sweatshop’s first lesbian play written in 1975). They have toured their work to Brighton as part of the Pink Fringe to Birmingham for Gay Pride and are now delighted to be coming to Deal to perform at The Astor!
