Hero of the 1940s radio serial, Dick Barton (played by widely experienced TV, film and theatre actor James Petherick), is back in an action packed adventure. Join DB, Jock (Patrick O’Connor), Snowy, Daphne (Ann Lindsey Wickens)and a host of old pals as he faces arch enemies Baron Scarheart (Brian Withstandley currently enjoying a cult following as Uncle Jesse in the “Battle of the Subway Sandwich!”) and Marta Heartburn (Marie Kelly). The brave crew aim to rid the world of evil in the name of decency and patriotism. This Spoof Radio production of EPISODE I in Phil Willmott’s series is directed by opera and musical comedy director John Drewry.
